Step-Up provides free, confidential hepatitis C testing, education, and linkage-to-cure support through HepLink, our program designed to help people move from diagnosis to treatment completion. HepLink supports people living with hepatitis C, with a special focus on individuals impacted by incarceration, reentry, and other barriers to care.
HepLink services may include:
- Free and confidential HCV testing and education
- Linkage to medical care and treatment providers
- Help understanding test results and next steps
- Insurance support and benefits navigation
- Appointment scheduling and care coordination
- Transportation, housing, and basic-needs referrals when available
- Case management and barrier elimination

HepLink is proud to be part of Indiana’s broader effort to eliminate hepatitis C. Through our partnership with Connect to Cure and alignment with Zero is Possible – Indiana, or ZIP-IN, Step-Up helps connect Hoosiers living with hepatitis C to testing, education, care coordination, treatment support, and cure.
Support for People Returning Home from Incarceration
Through a unique partnership with the Indiana Department of Correction, HepLink helps support people who are returning to the community after incarceration and are living with hepatitis C. Our team works to ensure individuals who need to start HCV treatment, or who began treatment while incarcerated and need to complete their cure, are connected to care, resources, and support after release.
